6 days, 5 nights Antigua · Lake Atitlán Private, from 2 travellers

A short, beautifully paced escape to Guatemala's two most loved places: the colonial streets of Antigua and the volcano-framed shores of Lake Atitlán.

Stone path through purple flowers to a pier on Lake Atitlán

About this tour

Short on time but not on curiosity? This six-day escape focuses on just two places so you spend your days exploring, not driving. Two nights in Antigua give you the city's churches, markets and café culture; three nights at Lake Atitlán let you slow right down.

We include the experiences that make each place sing — a cooking class with a local cook, a private boat day between Maya villages, an early hike for the classic view over the lake — and leave generous gaps for wandering. It works perfectly on its own, or as the start of a longer journey.

Highlights

  • Rooftop sunsets over Volcán de Agua
  • A hands-on Guatemalan cooking class in Antigua
  • Private boat day to Santiago and San Juan La Laguna
  • Sunrise hike to the Indian Nose above the lake
